Simple Country Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2007
Ribs were tough. Maybe it was the meat? I think I will stick to just putting them on the grill.

Kickin' Collard Greens

Great! Planted collards for the first time in our garden and searched for recipes to use. This was just great. I love it! Made pretty much as stated but probably used more garlic and red pepper...didn't measure..

Grilled Potatoes and Onion

Reviewed: May 24, 2007
I've been making potatoes like this for years! They are great. Just make sure you grease/butter the foil good and double wrap. You can add all kinds of stuff to your liking.

Made this last night for Mother's day and it was just ok. Rather bland. Needs to be spice up a bit. I did add sage, combining another recipe with this one.

Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2007
I made this for Easter breakfast. Used 9 eggs and substituted ham for sausage (also having sausage biscuits and gravy). Used frozen hash browns with onions and green peppers and baked for 30 minutes as previously stated. I thought this was a rather bland bunch of mush. Maybe because I used ham.

Hubby said "you can make this every night!" Followed the recipe with the exception of the bay leaf (didn't have any)and used 2 packets of Italian salad dressing mix. Also used Chuck roast. Great taste. Will make again!

Special Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
I made these for a Christmas potluck this weekend. I omitted the onions. I liked it just fine. Couldn't really taste the horseradish though. Could be because I change the serving number and it adjusted the recipe. I took 18 eggs/36 halves and came home with 4 halves.

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
Let me start out by saying my daughter baked 2 of these this weekend, one to keep and one to take to a Christmas potluck. She used frozen blackberrys from out of our yard from this summer. I didn't supervise so not sure if she did it right or not but I suspect she did not bake long enough. Ours didn't look like the picture - not that brown. It was also a gooey mess. That being said my husband ate all of ours and about half got eaten at the potluck. So I guess it was ok.

Great potatoes. I used minced garlic in a jar, a couple spoons full, and just sprinkled the parm cheese in (didn't measure). Turned out great.

Hubby ate as a sandwitch and said just ok. I added some cheese to mine. Just ok.. Made it because I hade the ingredients on hand. Don't think I'll make again.

Made this for a family at church that had a baby. Turned out good but not as spicy as I would prefer. I would make again but if making for my family I would spice it up alot.
