Better Than Sex Cake I

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
I made this cake yesterday evening and I also submitted a picture of it as well, with that being said this is THE BEST cake I have had in a long time. I had tried other variations of a "Better Than Sex" cake, but this was by far THE BEST!! The only thing different I did was on the top I added just the Bits O Brickle Heath that isn't covered in chocolate and also added pecans. It is really to DIE for so good. I've told all my friends about it and forwarded them to this recipe and gave them a strict warning that it was uber sweet and totally delectable! Just having made it yesterday, I have to admit there are only 3 pieces left.. my boyfriend and I have devoured it..I just really can't say enough about it. I will toss my old recipe and stick with this one!

Jammin' Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
I made this last night and it was unbelievable how delicious it was! I first thought "how weird to put grape jam in" then I thought again, well in most good beef stews you add a good red wine so then it made sense. I couldn't even tell the jam was in it.. not that that matters to me. It was soooo good. I had a bowl last night when it finished simmering and had another bowl for dinner tonight. It really is even better the next day! It's so good and I would recommend it to anyone! I did add some frozen vegetables to mine the last 15 minutes of simmering. It came out perfect! Of course, my boyfriend who isn't a picky eater by any means, loved it. Squenched his nose up when I told him I was adding jam to it, but then he said "baby whatever you make I will eat" He's ate more of it than I have! Proof's in the pudding ( or in this case, stew) It's AMAZING!!

Chili Rick's

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2009
I made this chili awhile back when I was searching for a different "type" of chili recipe than my traditional. With the addition of the sausage & bacon with the ground beef..this chili is off the charts delicious! I served mine with home made cornbread and topped off with a mild cheddar cheese.. trust me with so much flavor you only need a mild cheese. It's flavorful and filling..in fact, it made so much, that I have leftovers in the freezer! A true 5-star recipe.

Spicy Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
These were absolutely delish! I made them on Monday evening for my boyfriend and myself & they were just wonderful! I made enough to be able to have leftovers the next day and they were just as good the next day and I am not a leftovers kinda person! I did make one small adjustment I didn't use the tomato's with the green chili for fear with the jalapeno already in the recipe that it would be too hot, but other than that I didn't change a thing! WONDERFUL!!!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
My boyfriend loves pecan pie so I decided to make him one for Thanksgiving..needless to say this pie was DELICIOUS! I even had a piece this morning for breakfast! it was so easy to whip up and the crust came out perfectly..I did take the other viewers advice to start out on one temp and then lower to 300 and I think that made it! I wish I would've had a camera it came out just lovely!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
I just made this today and BOY oh BOY I couldn't imagine anything being anymore delicious or easy to make! My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I couldn't believe how tender the meat got and the only thing I changed was that I added the green pepper in about 2 hours before the end of cook time so they would not get mushy. Came out perfect! This is definitely going into the "keepers" and *yummy* files!

Cracker Candy

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
I had heard about this from a friend prior to finding this recipe! She told me that it was absolutely delicious and so I decided to search for it here on Allrecipes. I came upon this recipe (it was the highest rated) and I must say I absolutely can see & taste why! I just finished breaking it up into pieces after I let it set up overnight in the fridge! How marvelous this is! Who would have thought crackers could be so good? The only modification I made was in the sugar area since I had read a lot of the reviews in which folks said to use brown sugar instead of white. It came out fabulously!! I used 1 cup of brown sugar to the 2 sticks of butter. Also, I covered my pan with waxed paper before baking off the crackers and sugar mixture. It made for a much easier clean up! Wonderful recipe! I am sharing it with all my friends! This is certainly a keeper and yields quite a lot of candy.

JIF® Buckeyes

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
I just made these this past weekend as I was having a craving for them. My mother used to make these for the holidays and since she is no longer here I wanted to not only satisfy my craving for the taste, but to also have something to take me back to the days of her making them and BOY! did these do the job! They are soo good! It took about 2 1/2 cups of the sugar for me to get them to roll up into the perfect ball shape, I popped them into the freezer for about 10 minutes and got my chocolate and shortening melted and here's a tip for dipping them. I put 4 or 5 balls into the bowl where the chocolate has been melted, roll that around with a spoon and then lift them up with a fork to release all the extra chocolate! These are a definite keeper! Thank you for taking me back to years long since past! This is staying in my recipe box for sure!

Peanut Butter Dreams

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2006
These are soooo good.. I couldn't stop eatting them! The only thing I didn't like was after about a day in the fridge the crispies didn't set to well in the peanut butter and they didn't really get mushy but they weren't crispy.. other than that these are wonderful! Thanks for the recipe...I saved it ;)

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
This was delicious! I made it as a dessert to compliment my Easter feast. Let me tell ya, I just had ANOTHER bowl of it, and its just spectacular the longer it sits in the fridge! I did however make a few changes as requested in the other reviews. I used 1- 3 oz box of french vanilla jell-o & 1/2 box banana cream jell-o, 1/2 the can of sweet milk, 2 cups of milk and other than that I followed the recipe. I made a huge bowl full of this creamy, sweet goodness and I will definitely make it again in the future! YUM-O-RIOUS!!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
I just made these this evening. I was hesitant to make them at first because they seemed to be quite difficult to master according to other reviewers. However, I found them quite easy to make and they came out very good :) I decided to go with a strawberry cake mix, strawberry frosting and milk chocolate coating. I baked my cake as directed.. let it cool completely, crumbled it up added the frosting and mixed until it got to be like a play-doh consistency, rolled them out; I ended up with 33 balls. I let them them sit for 2 hrs. Melted my chocolate and for me the hardest part was dipping them. They set up well. Very good, however it has made my blood sugar spike! They are quite rich! Still, they are good and worth the time to make. I like that you can use a variety of cake mixes and frostings as well!
