Cottage Cheese Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
Great recipe, but too salty for me. The consistancy was great and the combination of ingredients was wonderful, but perhaps next time I'll fry my own onions and season myself with pepper and italian blend or something. Thanks for the unique combo!

Tropical Salad with Pineapple Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
This salad was a hit at a Hawaiian themed shower I went to. I did not put the pineapple in the salad, the vinagrette was enough pineapple flavour for me. For presentation value I put edible flowers on the top. It was really beautiful and tasted great. Oh, I had no macadamia nuts so I put in some almonds. Though straying from the theme they worked fine. This is a tasty, simple salad where the dressing and lettuce (I did not use bagged lettuce for this, but locally grown romaine) are complimented opposed to being overpowered by too many ingredients.

Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
Absolutely wonderful. I had never made cabbage rolls before and I really appreciate the simple steps - microwaving the cabbage, though sceptical at first, is genius. I served this to my mother-in-law and husband and both said they were the best cabbage rolls they've ever had (and she's an incredible cook from France!). If there happens to any leftover stuffing it could also be used in peppers. Super Yum!

Couscous Royale

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
This dish was so tasty. My boyfriend and I loved it. I did not have chicken thighs (which, I'm sure, would have been lovely) so I quartered a couple chicken breasts. I did not have harissa, nor do I know what it is, so I omitted it. Regardless, this dish tasted super good. Just spicy enough and the sizing of the veg was perfect. Also, the veg remained somewhat firm - just the way we like it. I will be making this again.

Amazing Butternut Squash

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2005
Tasty and easy to make - though it did take some prep time. I had no mayo so I used ranch dressing and milk. It worked out well, and gave the squash some kick! Everyone loved it.
