Lemon Cranberry Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2010
Never fails - awesome recipe. I would suggest adding more lemon flavour by washing two lemons - grating the zest and adding that to the mixture. (Just the yellow part - the white rind is bitter) I also squeeze the juice from the two lemons into the batter.

Sweet Green Tomato Ketchup

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2010
I'm the creator of this recipe - which is actually really good - if you don't follow the instructions I wrote down. I definately reused the "saltwater" one time and it came out really nice - so I wrote it down- but never again has it turned out at all- so if you'd like to try this recipe - discard ALL salted water and it will turn out just fine!!! All Recipes will not let me edit the recipe - since it's already been published. Basically ignore the part that says "reserve 1/2 cup" - throw it all away and rinse rinse rinse the salt off!!! It also says Kosher salt - it should be Coarse salt - or Pickling Salt. Massive typo on my part. I like things to be fairly salty - but it's much easier to add a wee bit of salt at the end with a salt shaker to your own personal taste. My apologies to anyone who tried the original version that was published - believe me - I tried to edit it. It wasn't until now could we review our own recipes. Mistake 1 - Coarse Picking Salt not Kosher Salt Mistake 2 - Do not reserve any of the salt water Mistake 3 - I didn't emphasize how important it is to rinse all the salt off the vegetables. Mistake 4 - When it's time to drain everything - you can just use a plain 'ol collander over the sink.

Fancy-But-Easy Mac N' Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2010
Hey there - I'm the creator of the recipe. Thank you to everyone who have left a 5-Star review for me. I guess I should have been clear in the recipe that I like things sweet - even cheese! I put sugar in my spaghetti sauce too. If you don't have a sweet tooth like me - use less sugar or no sugar - pretty simple. I don't overly appreciate the people who have changed the recipe - omitting ingredients and then leaving me a poor review - it's not fair to make up your own recipe and then poorly grade mine - when it's not really my recipe that was created. On a side note - condensed soup does have a processed cheese taste - I suppose that's the difference between a quick and easy mac n' cheese and a more advanced one - if you don't like processed cheese - please keep that in mind. Again - thanks to everyone who have left postive reviews - they're greatly appreciated. Who knew something I mustered up with things in my kitchen would be such a hit!!!Cheers!!!!
