Based on other reviews I was prepared to alter the recipes as follows: cut out jalapeno peppers, double the green chile peppers, substitute 1 can of chicken broth with cream of chicken soup, and use 4 cans of beans w/ one can mashed. However, as I was making the chili I was worried about it becoming too soupy. I drained the cans of beans before adding them. After I added two cans, I thought it look like enough beans so that is all I used. I have five young children so I cut the cayenne pepper by 1/2. The thickness came out perfect...not too soupy, and it wasn't too spicy either. Will definately make again. Thanks for a great recipe
