Swanson® Black Bean, Corn and Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
This is delicious! I changed it up a little bit. I added a can of fire roasted tomatoes and a can of enchilada sauce. I also added some extra corn and black bean salsa and used kidney beans instead of black beans. I used cayenne instead of chili powder and it gave just the perfect kick. I also added a little more salsa and reduced sodium chicken broth than what it called for. I didn't add sugar, but the cumin gave it a little bit of a sweet flavor, so I'm glad I omitted the sugar.

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
These crepes were so easy and delicious! I followed the recipe exactly, although my batter did come out a little lumpy as some reviews stated. Next time, I will try what one user suggested of mixing the eggs and wet ingredients and then sifting in the flour. I also thought that these were just a bit too thick for crepes. Next time, I might add an additional 1/4 cup of milk. I served these stuffed with bacon, scrambled eggs and sharp cheddar cheese inside. They were fantastic!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
Fantastic! I actually followed this recipe to a T and they were wonderful. They could have used just a little something, although I'm still not sure what that is...maybe some garlic? I grilled these and served them with Ranch dressing and they were great!

Buffalo Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2011
This is a fantastic recipe! I used chicken breast in this becuase I liked that better than the ground chicken. I also used closer to a cup of Frank's than a half cup. It needed a little more Buffalo flavor.

Baked Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: May 5, 2011
These were delicious! The sauce baked right into them so they weren't nearly as messy as most wings. I only had time to refrigerate them for about 20 minutes and they turned out just as delicious as others have stated.

Boneless Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: May 4, 2011
These are AMAZING! I followed the recipe fairly close, but I used less milk and no cayenne. I also didn't dip all of them in the egg/milk and flour twice as it was very time consuming. I couldn't tell the difference of which one was which. They were so delicious! I would highly recommend these to anyone who loves boneless wings! For sure a keeper!

Beer Batter Fish Made Great

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2012
I really shouldn't be rating this recipe as I didn't really follow it. I used almost a half and half ratio with flour and beer, but tweeked it a little bit. I used 1 1/2 cup flour to almost a whole bottle of beer. There was about 1/4 cup left in the bottle. It was too thick was a half and half ratio. I added freshly ground pepper and alot of garlic powder. I let it sit for an hour. I also floured the fish before I coated it with the beer batter. I also drained the fish on a paper grocery bag and it stayed SO crispy. It was AMAZING! I LOVED it! The best beer better I have EVER had!!

This is fantastic! Very delicious! I followed the recipe, except instead of using 1 pound of gross processed cheese, I used 8oz of sharp cheddar cheese. I also didn't add any of the seasoned salt or salt. Next time, I would double the Worcestershire and the hot sauce. Would definately make again!

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

Reviewed: May 4, 2011
Fantastic! We used two blocks of 1/3 less fat cream cheese and mixed in 1 packet of Hidden Valley fiesta ranch mix and a little bit of cheddar cheese. We used center cut bacon which has the same amazing flavor but so much less fat and calories. We also put them in the freezer for about 20 minutes before cooking them. Instead of grilling, we put them in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes and they came out perfect!
