Chili III

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2007
I rated this five stars because it was so easy and quick and had good flavor. I used diced tomatoes and added the extra water. I also cut down on the chili powder for the kids sake. I really like this recipe and will make again.

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
I have made this five times and it is wonderful. I altered it a little per others reviews. I used one can of tomato soup, one can of kidney beans, one tablespoon of chili powder, added a can of tomatoes with chilies, and half a can of water. If you like your chili really spicy keep the chili powder at two tbspns, but I had to tone it down for the kids. Keep it on low all day and you will love this easy and yummy chili!

Golden Potato Soup

Loved this recipe. My 11 and 9 year old sons made this for a cold sunday dinner. Super easy. They used REAL bacon bits that we keep in the freezer and we cooked the potatoes seperately. Wonderful!

Pepperoni Bread

Loved this recipe! My eight year old made it by himself and it tasted like the bread you can buy at specialty bread shops. Dipped it in marinara sauce and loved it!

Easy, quick, and yummy! Perfect weeknight meal. Took maybe fifteen minutes and we loved it. I didn't have the zucchini but everything else was by the recipe. Wouldn't change a thing.

Cherry Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Fantastic. Even my two year loves these. I did not use a pound of cherries as per the recipe, I used a handful of craisins. Was perfect! Have made this four times this month.

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2007
I used a chicken and spinach sausage and added about 1/2 cup of italian dressing, double wrapped with foil and threw on the grill over the fire at the camp site and it was great! Easy and the kids loved the change from burgers and hot dogs. The people we were camping with were jealous of our wonderful meal. This is a keeper.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Made with boneless skinless chicken breasts and simmered sauce before pouring on top of chicken and just popped in the oven. Whole family loved it! Not too sweet, not too salty, just right.

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2007
Best recipe ever! I followed the advice of one of the other reviewers and mixed the "wet" ingredients first then added the flour. Not lumpy at all. Put about a teaspoon of sugar in the batter to give it a little sweetness. We just put raspberry preserves on and rolled them up. Kids ate three each!

Loved this. Did not add the jalopenos but stuck to the rest of the recipe. So easy I made a second batch the same night because the kids ate it up!
