I've never had any luck using yeast in ANYTHING. I make hockey pucks. These puffed up slowly but surely to phenomenal fluffiness!! Roll em tight so the ends don't flip out. I used dental floss to cut them. I put 6 big rolls in each 9x12 pan and let them get REALLY BIG- they look EXACTLY LIKE cinnabons! I used 1C of powdered sugar in the icing and came up a bit short, so double the icing recipe. I mixed the filling ingredients together too. I'll try with makara cinnamon next time but these were SO GOOD with the regular stuff I doubt they can be any better. My family is in awe. Just be patient and let them rise, it will pay off :D I wanted to dance in the street with glee. I think it's the bread flour. I'm trying a white bread now HEE HEE!
