About this Cook
A stay at home mom to a beautiful little boy!
My favorite things to cook
Anything that I can put my own spin on and that my family likes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Grandma Ruth taught me to cook when I was just a little girl and I still use her recipes(pinch of this, dash of that) now that she is gone. She was an amazing cook and now my family thinks that I am amazing too. My aunts and uncles are always begging me to make dinner for them.
My cooking triumphs
Getting my picky nephew to eat more than chicken nuggets, french fries, and bean burritos. His new favorite is lasagna.
My cooking tragedies
I made a cake for 4th of July, spent hours decorating it...put it in the car to transport it and our dog, Peaches, jumped right on top of it. :(

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Wing Soup
I took this to a soup social and everyone LOVED it! It was one of the first ones to go! I did add an envelope of ranch to the pot just to add a little more flavor. Thank you so much! I will make this over and over!

Lolah's Chicken Adobo
So yummy and easy! My five year old loves it too! The only thing I did different was instead of pickling spice (did not have any) I used bay leaf, a dash of cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper.
