Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2007
this did not go over well at my party. I had to throw most of it away. I probably did something wrong but I wont make it again.

Chocolate Pretzels

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2007
Very Very easy. fun to make. Just don't make them on pampered chef stones, they stick bad. They come off of metal pans better.

Creamy Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
I love this receipe. I cook the chicken in the crockpot with water, italian seasonings, onions, and some other stuff I can't remember. I tend to just throw stuff in. I omit the tarragon just because it is so expensive and I never use it for anything else. I have a toddler so I finely chop the nuts and he can't get enough of it. I serve the salad on buttered toast and it is heavenly. Plus I don't heat up my kitchen. Great summer meal serve with melon on the side.

Gramma Bertha's Banana Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2006
My mother in law has a banana cake receipe that she is guarding like the family gold but my husband craves the stuff like a pregnant woman. So I came here looking for something that might tide him over till our next family outting and he actually said it was better than his mothers. Score one for the wives. Anyway. I love this receipe. I love that we throw sliced banans in. I really think that makes a difference. We eat it plain and frosted. I always make it in a pampered chef stoneware bar pan and it comes out so nicely.

Pumpkin Bars II

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
this recipe is similar to one I got out of a better homes and garden cook book except the seasoning. there should only be 2 tsp of baking soda and powder. Not tbsp. I also cheated and used a can of cream cheese frosting and It was great. The spices really added something to this receipe.

The peanut butter balls were great and very easy to make. They were a hit at our holiday party. Next time I am going to cover them in vanilla almond bark. I can't wait to try them again.

Corn Chowder - Fast and Great

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2005
I really enjoyed this recipe. I had to use pre-packaged shreaded potatoes due to time. It turned out really good. I also used turkey bacon and added polish sausage to make it a meal. I loved the taste and texture. it was pretty thick and yummy. I also topped it with a dollop of sour cream and that was a perfect touch. Not very waiste line friendly but yummy.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2005
I have the pickest husband ever so I changed the soup to cream of chicken. I also tried it with the country gravy instead of onion gravy. We really liked it. My potatoes were not done in time allowed. Next time i will put my crock pot on high. I also added peas and corn. Very good. We mixed in rice and my husband raved about it. needed extra water.
