Cheese Ball I

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
As written is very good, but I cheated & did as a few others have done & I added 1 pkg Carl Buddig Beef, scallions, & a "dab" of Worcestershire sauce. It gets RAVE reviews every time I make it. Never fails someone is asking me for the recipe. Thanks Ellen for a great base recipe!!!

Meatball Nirvana

Very good meatball recipe. I love the "spice" of them! Only complaint is they stuck to my non-stick baking pan! Next time I'll bake on parchment. Then they'll be perfect!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
These cookies are "da bomb"!! I made them during our yearly baking day last weekend and my friend & I couldn't stop eating them! I'm planning on making them for my work's cookie exchange this year too! I agree with other reviews that you could easily double the cookie part of the recipe & keep the frosting amounts the same. I had tons left over. Great "gourmet" cookie!!

Six Threes Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
Wow... very good & super creamy. I used only 2 of each with the exception of 3 lemons & only 1 orange. Needless to say the base of this recipe is awesome & the other ingredients can be modified to suit your tastes. Next time I might use all lemons. Great recipe & so easy to make!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
I've made this twice & each time I get asked for the recipe!I doubled it and ended up using an entire jar of jalapeno's (we like spicy food!). Must serve with french bread, tastes exactly like a jalapeno popper you'd get from a restaurant!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2009
Very good! I didn't change a thing, other than mashing the banana's rather than slicing them. It was soooo good & moist!

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2009
YUM! I didn't have any cayenne pepper on hand & it still came out with wonderful flavor & spice! My husband absolutely loved it. Ate leftovers as sandwiches. Perfect and so easy!

Cara's Creamy Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
This was just awesome! I did as some others & used Italian sausage, added oregano, basil and also about 1 lb spinach, rinsed & drained. It turned out soooo good. Even my mother-in-law was raving about how great it tasted! I think next time I'll leave the eggs out. It tasted fine, but looked rather odd when cooking the Italian sausage.

Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2008
Wonderful recipe! And SOOO easy! I did as other suggested & used brown sugar in place of the syrup. Instead of using whole cloves, I added about a tsp of ground cloves to the honey mixture. Also, only basted every 20 minutes. Turned out awesome. Everyone at Easter dinner went back for 2nd's!

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2008
Oh my gosh!! This is the BEST base recipe for quiche. I doubled the recipe & I added a container of fresh mushrooms, 1 jar of roasted red peppers, 2 tsp's of jarred minced garlic, some red pepper flakes, nutmeg & a bag of diced deli ham. I also used pepperjack cheese and put sliced Muenster on top before baking. Made for a brunch I was having & everyone commented on how yummy it was. Several wanted the recipe.

Kevin's Sausage Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2006
I have been making this dip for several years now. A few variations from Kevin's though. I use 1lb spicy bulk sausage, 3-8 oz cream cheese & 2 cans rotel. My husband & I love spicy foods, but I like how you can adjust the taste by buying mild saugage and regular rotel. Every time I make it, I get rave reviews!

Very moist & delicious meatloaf. The carrot was a bit different, but was very good! I put Italian style breadcrumbs instead of fresh & it tasted great!

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
I made this for dinner last night... YUM! My husband & I loved it, and it was so easy just to cook the meatballs in the sauce. I did only add 1/4 cup of sugar like others suggested, but over-all this was delicious! Will definately have again.

Basic Ham and Bean Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
This soup was wonderful! I did use 1/2 chicken stock and 1/2 water like some others suggested. I also used 3 ham hocks instead of just 1 and my husband & I thought the flavor was wonderful! I will definitely make this again!
