Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2001
This was my first attempt at bread pudding. I used 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white. This was easy to prepare and perfect to satisfy one of my last pregnancy cravings. I might try more brown and less white sugar next time. I also used the one less egg as I read in previous posts. You just have to try it!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2001
This is delicous and puts all other banana breads I have tried to shame. The first loaf lasted 4 days and was moist the whole time. I used reduced fat margerine instead of butter and 5 banana's Temperature and cooking time were fine for me, remember if it looks a little over-brown in the beginning that the batter has all brown sugar...YUM!

Basil Tomato Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2001
Very good, had to make it w/thout onions (hubby hates them) and I used diced instead of whole tomatos. Meat is nice and tender, we used boneless, and the flavor goes all the way through.

Leftover Chicken Croquettes

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2001
This is VERY good stuff. My husband and I both loved them. We don't have a lot of time and this is good to throw together the night before and cook after work. Good with gravy as well as alone! One of my favorite ways to use leftover chicken.

Chicken and Dumplings I

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2001
This was great!!! I have made it twice in just a few weeks. This tastes just like my mom's but without all the butter! The dumplings are nice and firm but not dry or tough. I added a little garlic, parsley and poultry seasoning to gravy. We will use this recipe over and over. 2/20/01 I have to add on to this, I got this recipe around two months ago and we make it at least every two weeks. Very very good!Even the leftover's are good.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2001
Super flavor in these cookies. They stayed soft for several days. I will use margerine instead of butter and all brown sugar next time as they spread to be very thin during baking. The amount of oatmeal and raisins are PERFECT in this recipe. I can't wait to try it with the alterations.

Miami Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2000
These cookies are fair, I won't make them again. You'll really like them if your looking for a cake-like cookie. Sort of like a sugar drop cookie. You can only taste a hint of the sour cream. Doesn't taste mch like a traditional chocolate chip cookie, they are VERY soft though.

Peanut Butter Cookies VI

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2000
Good flavor, soft but not chewy. The consistancy reminded me of Bisquick sugar cookies, we'll probably finish these but I won't make them again.
