Ok everybody don't hate me but one night when I needed something really fast I used a jar of premade sauce and added a dash of sugar, a dash of wine, and the heavy cream! Super quick and super easy!

This was really good. The only changes I made were to use rolled oats and I didn't use dates.

Sarah's Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
This was awesome! I used ramon noodles because it was all I had, and broke them up and browned them in butter (I did not use the flavor packet). I left out the garlic because I have one kid that is allergic. I also used some turkey stock I had in the freezer. The result was wonderful and it went along with my salmon and mixed veggies perfectly!

We loved this! I used the crockpot suggestion and it turned out perfect. I served with a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese on the top of each bowl and some fresh homemade french bread. My husband and my kids raved!

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
These are a favorite in our house and super easy to make. You can leave the top alone, after the chocolate is melted or you can sprinkle with chopped nuts or heath bars....make sure the chocolate is still warm when you put the toppings on so it will stick.

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
Wonderful cornbread if you love the sweet moist version! Huge hit with my family. I followed the advice other's and split the sugar between brown and white and soaked the cornmeal in milk for a little while before continuing the mixing process.

Waikiki Cornbread

Tastes like cake. We enjoyed it. Hard to eat like normal cornbread because it's so crumbly. But it was great crumbled over chili. I do like more corn flaver in my cornbread!

Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2005
It was a good start but definately needed something more for my families taste buds. I added garlic, cumin, chili powder, and red pepper. I also used brown rice instead. I used the skeleton of the recipe and changed it quite a bit.
