This recipe is da bomb! Spicy, sweet, tangy, this recipe has it all. Just like the ones I'll see in the restaurants at my home. I actually omitted the water chestnuts because I've never seen it in kung pao chicken. Also I wasn't sure what hot chile paste is or how much 1 ounce is so I used a tablespoon of sriracha and lee kum kee chile garlic sauce. I am from Monterey Park which is also called the real Chinatown by purists so I know my kung pao chicken! Thanks for sharing =)
