Zesty Porcupine Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
they fell apart! I had the meatballs in the pan on a low heat setting, and when I turned them to brown them they just crumbled apart. I ended up just browning all the meat, adding the sauce, and using this as a sauce for pasta - but the taste still fell short. Glad everyone else had luck with this, but I sure didn't.

Pita Chips

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2007
these are so good! I used olive oil, garlic powder, pepper and a bit of salt. I cut the pitas with a pizza cutter, and seperated the top and bottom layer so that each piece would make 2 chips.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2007
I made this cheesecake with my mother for a family reunion. We used a 10 inch springform pan because she didn't have an 8 inch. It raised very high while baking, almost spilling over the pan. We thought it wasn't done so we left it in about 20 minutes longer and the whole top turned brown. While it was sitting overnight it shrunk down in height, and cracked in a circle. I think if we'd just let it be after the first hour it would have turned out better. None the less it tastes great! and I'm topping it with "Praline Sundae Topping" from thsi site - Heaven!

So yummy and Easy! Best either right out of the oven, or after chilling over night when they are easier to cut.

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2006
I did the whole 2 eggs 1/4 tsp of powder variations. I baked them for 45 minutes and they are burnt on the edges, and not cooked in the middle. Won't be making these again. Glad to see other people had better luck though.

Cajun Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2006
I substituted some of the spices for other spices, and sausage for pepperoni but those are just personal preferences. It freezes wonderfully too. If you have to reheat in the microwave try putting some alfredo sauce on top to keep it from getting dried out and gross from reheating.

Boiled Bagels

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2005
the only reason this gets 4 instead of 5 stars is because there is no way this makes 12 bagels :) but for me it made 11 mini delicious bagels!! I really enjoyed these. Mine also sank to the bottom, but I just scooped them up with the spatula and then they floated on their own. so yummy!!
