I come from a large Italian family, and like all Italians I love to eat and enjoy to cook. My cooking started at a very young age. My Grandma watched me when I was younger while my parents worked. I was always in the kitchen watching & helping her cook. When I was about 4 I decided that I wanted Mac & Cheese, so I made it. I had seen it done a thousand times, so I got everything out and pulled my chair up to the stove & made Mac & cheese. I was almost done when my Grandma came in the kitchen to see what I was doing. Needless to say I have been cooking since then. Italian food of course. I will try just about anything except baking. I DO NOT BAKE, that requires measuring things and that is not something I like to do. Cooking with my Great Grandma, Grandma & Mom for big family dinners when I was a kid. I don't know if I have any real "triumphs". I just like to cook and I am good at it. Baking - I can't do it I don't have the patients, and I don't like to measure things. With baking everything is so precise.
