My Kids
About this Cook
I come from a large Italian family, and like all Italians I love to eat and enjoy to cook. My cooking started at a very young age. My Grandma watched me when I was younger while my parents worked. I was always in the kitchen watching & helping her cook. When I was about 4 I decided that I wanted Mac & Cheese, so I made it. I had seen it done a thousand times, so I got everything out and pulled my chair up to the stove & made Mac & cheese. I was almost done when my Grandma came in the kitchen to see what I was doing. Needless to say I have been cooking since then.
My favorite things to cook
Italian food of course. I will try just about anything except baking. I DO NOT BAKE, that requires measuring things and that is not something I like to do.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking with my Great Grandma, Grandma & Mom for big family dinners when I was a kid.
My cooking triumphs
I don't know if I have any real "triumphs". I just like to cook and I am good at it.
My cooking tragedies
Baking - I can't do it I don't have the patients, and I don't like to measure things. With baking everything is so precise.

Hot Onion Dip
This was very good and practically gone at the end of the party. Next time I will make a few changes. I think it needs more onion & some garlic. I will make again with my changes. We at the dip with crackers and it was perfect.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower
Loved it! If you don't like garlic, don't bother with the recipe. I will make again & again.
