I am a 27-year-old mother of two. Between working full-time, raising my two little girls (Natalie is 5 and Emalie is 18 months), and, of course, taking care of my wonderful husband, life can be pretty hectic. But one of my main priorites, and I can even say my passion, is to experiment with different recipes to create a homecooked meal every night of the week! Being Vietnamese, I love cooking Pho noodle soup using my family's delicious recipe (maybe one day I will add it to allrecipes.com), spring rolls, egg rolls, and other authentic Vietnamese dishes. But my favorites are Italian, Mexican, and all-American dishes. I love to venture into the unknown! Thanks allrecipes.com and all its members for making it easy to do so... I don't have too many of my own family traditions, but one that I do have is Thanksgiving dinner at my house! It's my favorite holiday because I love spending time with friends and family, and I love to entertain. The first time I tackled a whole Thanksgiving dinner all by myself was when I was 15 years old-- and might I add that it was a successful, tasty dinner enjoyed by my entire family! I would have to say it was that Thanksgiving dinner I made when I was 15! After that, everything else seemed so easy.. It was the start of something beautiful--my passion for cooking! None so far!
