About this Cook
I'm 28 years old and getting married next year, so I'm trying to learn new recipes for me and my husband.
My favorite things to cook
My most famous dish is my grandma's macaroni and cheese. Everyone says I'm the only one that come close to recreating it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making fudge with my dad. Making homemade strawberry jam with my mom.
My cooking tragedies
I always forget to take the paper off of a ham when I bake it. My fiancee covered for me the last time.

Butterscotch Chewies
Wonderful!! I did take the previous reviewers' suggestions of adding more flour to create a very soft dough. I did not use the pecans, but the cookies came out so flavorful. The smell in my house was just amazing!

Dry Rub for Ribs
I wanted something good to put on pork chops and this was it! I cut down on the pepper a bit, but used everything else in the exact amounts. So good!! I didn't have time to marinate them and they were still awesome! I'm making them again for my brother on Monday.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
My husband loves these! He told me to keep them in the rotation now. I followed some other reviewers suggestions and substituted allspice for the cloves and used all butter. They baked up perfect for me at 11 minutes. Two days later and they are still soft. Thank you!
