About this Cook
I am a 27 year old Stay At Home Mom. Our children are 1 and 3. My 3 year old will eat raw onion and much more. I believe it's because I made their baby food. It was fun and affordable. It taught my son the real flavor of food. Store bought baby food, including organic does not taste real. I love to cook for my husband. He is not a picky so he's down to try anything I make. I love to cook for our family and friends. I took on Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas at age 22, kept it up over the past 5 years. I often have our friends and family over. I started working with and around food serving for Harris Ranch @ special events when I was 11 yrs. old continued working in the industry (in all positions) for 14 years. I have picked up most my cooking experience from working around people who were Master's at one thing or another. I like learning little tricks that make cooking fun and easy.
My favorite things to cook
Meat!! We eat mostly meat and Vegis. Beef, fish, chicken, pork seafood. Our favorite vegis are Zucchini, Broccoli, Asparagus, Mushrooms, Onions, Spinach, Artichokes I could go on and on
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Mother does not share the same passion, being a single mother and having to work all the time but I'm teaching her. I liked my My Mom's stuffing, she put raisons in the turkey stuffing.
My cooking triumphs
I feel I have concurred the flavor Mexican food!! Thanks to the traditional Mexican influence of my best friend's Mom. So add a dash of me and it's delicious.

My husband LOVED it. I am a little harder on myself. It defiantly had a beautiful presentation. My husband was so excited about how it looked he took a picture. My stuffing came out dry and didn't stick together. It tasted very good, perhaps I got rid of too much liquid from the spinach making it too dry. I will defiantly try to perfect this recipe and try it again

Honeyed Pork Chops
We thought it was great. Something different and will defiantly make it again. I made some little changes ...I added the juice from a fresh mandarin and twice the amount of honey to the sauce. Marinated the meat in the sauce for 1 1/2 hours. Put garlic powder on the chops before frying. I baked 3 chops for a little over a hour. My Husband said 5 stars for sure. It was not too sweet just a nice flavorful combination.
