Peanut Butter Cocoa No-Bake Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2011
These are great! The only thing I did differently was I used a candy thermometer and boiled until it got to the soft ball stage and I used 1/2 c. brown sugar b/c I ran out of white sugar. Soooo good!

Very good casserole. I got rave reviews from my family, even from the ones who say they don't like cabbage.

Honey Wheat Bread I

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
This bread was wonderful. I followed the directions exactly and it was so flavorful, light and delicious. I made a loaf with half of it and then did a braid with the other half. It was so tender and yummy!!! Thanks for this recipe, I will make it again and again.

Cream Cheese Cookies IV

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
These were some great cookies. I made them for a church function and I was asked for the recipe numerous times. I only had 4 oz. of cream cheese, and I upped the vanilla to 1/2 tsp. These were soooo good! So soft and chewy with a great vanilla and subtle cream cheese flavor, and sooo EASY! Deeelicious! Thanks!

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
OMG! I cannot believe I made these delicious cinnamon rolls! I have personally never had a Cinnabon, but these taste like something straight from a high-end coffee shop or bakery. I was so proud to serve these. My family cannot stay out of them. I followed the recipe to a "T" and they came out perfect. Thanks for the great recipe!!!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
This was THE BEST lasagna I have ever made. It took a little longer than using ready made sauce, but it was well worth it. The only thing I changed was I added more sugar as we like a little more sweetness to our sauce and I decreased the 1 tbsp of salt to 1/2 tbsp salt. My kids and hubby loved it. I was very proud! Thanks for the recipe!

Simple Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
Taste was great; however, I had a slight problem with the patties falling apart on me. I ended up with a skillet of the crumbled mixture and gravy. We ate it on mashed potatoes and it was still good, but had the patties stayed together it would have been better. As for the taste, a great recipe. Maybe I should have added extra bread crumbs?

Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
This produces the most crispy outside and tender inside on baked chicken that I have ever tasted! This is great. I use a whole chicken or even thighs and legs and it is still great. I love this recipe, it is the only way I bake chicken now. Thanks!!

Amish Bread

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
This was really good bread, just a little denser than I usually like. You will need to put aluminum foil over the top about halfway through baking to prevent over-browning though. I thought it was done and took it out too soon, which caused the underdone middle to fall and it was just really dense and gooey in that section. That was totally my fault though, nothing bad about the recipe. The taste overall was great, just a hint of sweetness. Thanks for a great recipe! Maybe next time I will do better!

Sticky Buns I

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
These were so good. I had never made homemade sticky buns before and this was fairly easy for me. I am just a beginner with the yeast doughs, but this was easy and I could not believe I actually made these!! Hubby loved them! Thanks for a great recipe.

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
Wow, this crust was flaky and sooo easy to prepare and to handle. I could not believe I actually made this crust! However, the only thing I would change would be to add a little sugar and maybe up the salt to 1/2 tsp. Other than that, this is the bomb!! Thanks for a great recipe!

Easy Bacon and Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: May 3, 2008
I really thought this was good. Nice texture and nice flavor, however, I thought it was missing something, maybe some more seasoning of some sort. Overall though it was a good dish, will make again.

Sour Cream-Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
I made this recipe with my sons this morning and it was okay at best. It was more cake-like to me and was not a chewy cookie consistency, more of a fluffy texture. The recipe description says light and fluffy, so I guess I should have listened!!! Good taste though, just not the consistency I like in a cookie. This would be good baked into muffins.

Low Fat Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2007
I had never tried low-fat bran muffins before, but I did not care for these. I did add some cinnamon to the last batch and they were better that way. I don't think it is this recipe I did not like, per se, but I think it was the low-fat taste I did not care for. However, they were moist and baked up nicely.

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

This recipe was wonderful. I have had many requests for a copy of it. It is different from the traditional meatball recipes and has kind of a chinese zing to it. Love it!!!

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2006
This was just okay. I would have liked to have tasted more of the mayonnaise flavor. I did not see the point of even dipping the chicken in the mayo mixture if you could not taste it. Pretty good, but won't make again.

Jimmy Dean Breakfast Casserole

Pretty tasty! A little too much bread for my liking though. I like a little more egg texture and less bread. All in all though, a good casserole, was definitely eaten quick!

Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2006
I used a 40-ounce jar of spaghetti sauce instead of the tomato paste and sauce and used oven-ready lasagna noodles. My family loved it. It was quick and easy to assemble. However, next time I will use regular noodles as the oven-ready noodles were just a tad on the soft side, but still good. Also, only 2.5 hours in my slow cooker for this and it was done.
