I am 38 years old. I am married with 1 daughter. My favorite things to cook are cassaroles. Making plenty of food to eat with many leftovers at Christmas and Thanksgiving. I have started a thing with my daughter to get her cooking. It is called Chefs night. We pick a new recipe either from a magazine or a cookbook and we go get all the ingredients if we don't already have them. The next night we make the recipe. She seems to enjoy it. I have had one of her friends to do it to. Now her friend always wants to come over on Chef night. You can also go a little farther and get an apron for you and your kids and personalize them. Making my favorite recipes and everyone loves it and wants the recipe. Spending money on ingredients for making a recipe just for it to turn out terrible and not worth it.
