Ukrainian Sweet and Sour Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2010
This recipe has become a favorite for me. A perfect recipe for the busy single (like me.) It's so easy and cheap without a lot of ingredients, yet so tasty! I love the vinegar flavor and follow the recipe exactly, but if you don't like such a strong vinegar flavor it's easy to play with the ratios of sugar or apple butter to vinegar. I sometimes add cranberries too. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Curried Wild Rice and Squash Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
Delicious! Makes great leftovers too. I followed the ingedient list, but cooked it the easy way - just threw everything in the slow cooker. Taking a cue from some slow cooker recipes with similar ingredients I put it on low for 8 hours and it came out great! The four is because I thought it needed some more flavor and so I mixed in more curry powder when it was done. Thanks for sharing!

Trinidad Pelau

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
Easy and delicious, all in one pot with just a few simple ingredients. I will definitely make this again. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is that, like another reviewer, the liquid called for in the recipe wasn't enough to cook the rice. Maybe I missed something, but I had to about double the water and coconut milk. Delicious end result, though. Thanks for a great recipe!

Cabbage Success

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2007
This is a really delicious recipe and so easy to make! A great way to use up leftover cabbage. I agree with some others that "creamy" may give the wrong impression, but don't let that throw you off this is still a great dish. I add a little flour before the brown sugar to make the sauce a little thicker, though.

Pineapple Fried Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2007
I thought this was really good. I added garlic and ginger as some other reviewers suggested and the flavor wasn't bland at all. I also added baby corn and I used whole grain rice instead of white, which I thought went really well.

Walnut Rice Salad

Delicious! And really simple to make. Thanks for the recipe, I will definitely make this again! I used whole grain rice. I cut out the mayonnaise, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly and it was great. I really recommend this recipe.

Balsamic Glazed Carrots

I was wary of this recipe because of the mixed reviews, but I thought it was good! I didn't think it was too strong at all, the flavor was subtle.
