Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! I won't even mention how many times I've made this, it's shameful. The only thing I've changed was the sugar amount. It taste no different with 3/4 c of white or brown sugar. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Fresh Grilled Steelhead Trout over Morel Mushroom Risotto

The best! Even works on the broiler setting in your oven. This is my favorite recipe for quick and easy broiled fish. It's a great way to surprise guest with an easy dinner and they will think you slaved over it.

Pretty easy to make. The lime, or lemon juice, suggestion works great!

Asparagus Quiche

Great healthy recipe. I used heavy cream, because I always have some on hand. I like provolone better than swiss. Very good flavor.

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

Really yummy! I can't stand chocolate brownies so this has become my new favorite. It will even work well if you only have just 1 egg left in the fridge.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
I have been making this for about a year now and have modified it a bit to our taste. I use italian bread crumbs for the coating. We like our food with extra spices, so I season with salt before the dipping and with garlic after being rolled in the crumbs. The chicken gets crispier and more flavor if you melt the butter first and then poor it evenly over the chicken before baking. Super recipe, especially with chicken breast tenders.

This is requested every single week. Absolutely the best! I put all of the ingredients in the blender for smoother consistency, and less clean-up.

Miso Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
Simple recipe, not for everyone's taste. We call it the "stinky soup", but the flavor is not stinky at all! I add dried shiitake mushrooms, and fried tofu that has been marinated in tamari sauce.

Danish Christmas Red Cabbage

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
This recipe was a treat, especially for the kids. There has never been a better way to get kids to eat their cabbage. I did not use as much sugar as the recipe called far, just 1/2 cup of Splenda, and while the cabbage is still warm added a 1-2 teaspoons of red currant jelly to each serving. Great recipe!

Cream of Cauliflower and Stilton Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
This has become my new comfort food. I had never tried Stilton cheese previously, and it absolutely makes the recipe. I wouldn't suggest using blue cheese as a substitute, it doesn't work as well. This is definitely a keeper, especially in the coming winter months.
