Made these twice last Christmas, and they were a total hit with everyone in my family! Just pulling the recipe back out to make them again this year too! I dip them in white chocolate. I also add another teaspoon of vanilla. This year going to make the white chocolate and a mint batch. I'm going to add some peppermint extract to the dough and dip in melted Andes chocolate mint pieces this time!

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

This recipe is by far the best frosting! I've used it on cake, cookies, and an eclair dessert. Consistency needs to be adjusted with the varying items with a little more or less milk depending on what I make. But, I use this recipe every time!

Honey Cornbread

This was the most incredible cornbread I have ever tasted! It was soft, and had a great texture! It even stayed soft after bing put in the fridge for a couple days! I did change a couple things, but they weren't too extreme. I used half & half instead of the heavy cream as others had mentioned. I also changed it from the 1/4 cup white sugar to 1/4 cup of Sugar Twin sweetener (I had my diabetic grandparents over for dinner that day). I served it in a 9 inch pie glass pie dish. Everyone said it was the best cornbread they had every eaten!! Tasted great!! I will be making this again! This is the only cornbread recipe a person needs!

Pebber Nodder (Danish Christmas Cookies)

These are awesome, but I tweaked the recipe a little to get them that way. I add 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and cardamom (not just the one), plus 1/4 tea white pepper and a dash of black pepper (1/8 tea. or less, I just give a couple shakes across the top). Then I just roll the dough into 1 inch balls, roll them in a little sugar and cinnamon mixture (amount of cinnamon depends on your tastes, I like a bit), then put them in to bake. So much easier the rolling into the ropes!! Rolling in the sugar/cinnamon mix helps battle the lack of sweetness others have mentioned. The spicy sweetness makes this a unique cookie that my whole family can't stop eating!! I'm getting ready to make this for the fourth time right now. I've had rave reviews from all of my extended family members as well! I sent a dozen to all of my extended family members in Christmas goodie baskets. I'm so glad I found this recipe!!!

The Easiest, Yummiest Sugar Cookies EVER!!!

This is a new family favorite. I'm already making these for the third time this season. I add an extra egg to the recipe because it is a little to dry, but they always turn out soft and tasty.
