I'm a 35 year old mother from Maryland. I love to cook for family, friends and myself. I started out cooking things that sounded good to me. I then branched out to cooking things for others, then I got obsessed with cooking and learned I really loved all aspects of cooking.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook meat and dishes with meat as the main ingredient. I also like to make simple deserts and some yummy sides.
My favorite family cooking traditions
This dish called Spanish Delight, which is basically egg noddles, beef, american cheese slices, a can of corn, onions and bell peppers. The beef is seasoned with chili powder, salt and pepper. Sounds simple, but it is so delicious. I've been meaning to put the recipe up, but I've been to lazy to break-down the recipe (I go by sight and taste).

My cooking tragedies
A egg and sausage casarole I got from this site. It was so bad I ended up thowing it out. Most definitely the worst thing I ever made.

Amazing Sugar Cookies
These turned out well for me. I formed dough balls about an inch around. They had to cook a few minutes longer than 9 mins. More like 12 for me.

Lemony Cucumbers
Really good with a subtle flavor. If you let them sit for a couple of days the vinegar taste will take over, FYI.

Sweet Banana Bread
Delicious. I don't think this was too sweet at all, I think it had a consistency & taste of a muffin-a delicious moist muffin. I tweaked the spices-because I am a flavor fanatic, I threw in some pumpkin pie spice, too. Also a TBS of imitation vanilla flavoring. I also cooked it for an hour and ten minutes in a 13x9 pan, turned out fine.
