I followed the recipe as is and my three kids did NOT like them. I thought they were so-so. Disappointing.

Tasty. I cooked for 30 mins and it came out a little over done.

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2010
I used Penne and mixed the pasta with the cheese mixture. The first time I made the cheese mix as described and it was too much sour cream. The next time I halfed the sourcream and added extra creamcheese. I liked it better the second way.

Hamburger Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2009
I followed the recipe as for the most part. I used a 26 ox jar of sauce instead of the two cans and I used 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef. It has a nice taste but could use more of the cheese filling. Next time I will double that part or maybe triple and add an extra layer of cheese.

Cheese Blintzes

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
Really, really good! I needed more of the sugar mixture then listed. I flattened the bread by rolling a can of soup over it and baked for 15 minutes to make the outside slightly crispy. This is an easy recipe for children who are learning to cook. I will make it again many times.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I used a smaller roast and after 5 hours on high it was still not done. (the recipe says 3-4)I ended up microwaving slices because we were hungry. The taste was nothing special.

Texture was good for rolling and cutting shapes. The flavor was very plain.

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
Really good the night I made it. But like others have said. If you leave it in the fridge a day or so the crackers get soggy and the bananas brown.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
I sub'd almond extract for the vanilla (didn't realize I was out until I got to that step!) The cookies were big fat and chewy just like it says. I know they would have tasted better with vanilla. So I give 4 stars for the recipe.

Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

I made a horrible mess in my kitchen but they tasted really good. The ones with less bread crumbs tasted better.

Seasoned Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
A bit too much flavor. If I make it again I will try using 1/2 the packet of onion mix and 1/2 the garlic powder. ALso I only used 1 tbsp of soy sauce.

Made for the second time. I added some mozzarella cheese because I didn't have parmesan. As is I give 3 stars. With the cheese added I would give 4.

Minus the Worcestershire and hot pepper sauce (didn't have them) This was really tasty. 5 out of 5 people in my family loved this (including kids) I also doubled the recipe.

Black Forest Cake II

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
Tasted better then I expected. I only put in about half of the liqour. I put some on the chocolate and soaked the cherries in the rest overnight. For the icing that goes on the middle layers: It needs more than a few spoons of liquid (cherry, milk or coffee) to thin it up enough to spread onto the cake layers. This is my husband's favorite kind of cake and my first time making it. DO NOT skip the wax paper circle. I decided to just grease the bottom of my pans and it was very difficult to get them out (and one fell apart while doing so). Finally, the cake was made a week ago. Kept in the fridge and the slice I ate tonight was better then last week. Very moist!
