Fresh Sugar Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2014
After looking at hundreds of recipes, I decided to try this one. After I made a pie with this recipe, I promptly went to the store to buy several more fresh pie pumpkins to cook, puree and freeze so that I could enjoy this pie whenever I wanted. It is unlike any other pumpkin pie. The MOST DELICIOUS pumpkin pie I've ever eaten! Thank you so very much for sharing this awesome recipe!

Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2014
I've made this recipe more times than I can count! I use the basic recipe and change up the vegetables and meat, depending on what I'm in the mood for. For something even more special, I use puff pastry dough, cut into small squares and put into cupcake pans for individual quiches. Perfect to serve at a tea or bridal shower!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2014
This stuffing recipe has the perfect ratio of moistness and spices! The only modification I made was the addition of some Chardonnay to the sauteed celery and onion. I've made this recipe for the last several holidays where turkey was involved. I even made it for my dad to go with pork roast! Thanks so much for this amazing recipe!!!!

Holland Cream (White Cream Filling)

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2014
I used this filling in cream horn cookies for my niece's wedding reception and it worked PERFECTLY! I did add a little almond extract, because that's the flavor I was aiming for. The best part of this filling is that it held up and the cookies didn't need to be refrigerated... which means they didn't get soggy! LOVE THIS RECIPE! Thanks so much for sharing it!!!!

Nut Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
THANK YOU for this wonderful recipe! This was my first attempt to make nut rolls. They came out GREAT! I did add some brown sugar to the nut mixture, about 3/4 cup. Also,I did have to bake them a little longer than it said to, but I rolled them short (about 10 inches long) so that's probably why. Other than that, I changed nothing. Everyone I gave one to LOVED it! The only thing I would change is to perhaps let them rise a bit before baking.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
There is no better sugar cookie than this! I've made this recipe countless times in the past year & everyone begs me for the recipe. I added an extra 1/2 cup of sugar and about 3/4 tsp. of almond extract. They're great with cream cheese icing or powdered sugar/milk glaze. Also, I used them as the base for individual fruit pizzas, which were a big hit!

Marshmallow Fondant

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
I followed the recipe exactly and I added butter extract and almont extract. I also followed other reviewers advice about spraying the marshmallow bowl and the Kitchenaid bowl. This fondant was so much easier to work with than the kind you buy in a box... and literally 100 times better tasting! Your guests WILL NOT be scraping off this fondant! Thank you for sharing this SPECTACULAR fondant recipe!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
This bread's texture is PERFECT. I noticed others said they had trouble, but I really think in order to get good bread, you MUST have three things: 1. A good mixer; 2. Fresh yeast; and 3. BREAD FLOUR. My only suggestion is that the bread is pretty sweet. Next time, I'll cut the sugar at LEAST in half. Otherwise, this recipe is a keeper for sure! Thank you so much for sharing it!!!

Fresh Rhubarb Pie

I made this pie for my dad for Father's Day and it was a HUGE hit! I followed the recipe exactly, except I sprinkled some clear vanilla extract over the pie before I put on the top crust. Perfect consistency & flavor. THANKS for sharing such a fantastic recipe!

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2006
This dressing is wonderful! I made it for a family get-together and had to print off the recipe for my family. I changed the serving size to 30 and mixed it up in a quart-sized mason jar. I added a couple Tbs. sugar, also, for a sweet-n-sour twist. I highly recommend this recipe-- it's a winner!

Blue Ribbon White Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2006
YOUR SEARCH FOR THE PERFECT BREAD RECIPE CAN END RIGHT HERE! I followed this recipe EXACTLY. I've eaten some wonderful homemade bread in my life, especially since we don't live that far from Ohio's Amish Country. This bread blows every other out of the water! It is so unbelievably good. Not doughy, but nice and soft inside with a nice crust. It makes great rolls, too! I'm going to add a little more sugar and use it for cinnamon rolls. I'll probably never buy bread from the store again! Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe! :)
