Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
Wow! This is great!! I gave a loaf of this to a chef friend and he said he ate the entire loaf in one sitting because he just couldn't stop. He said it's the best sweet bread he's ever had.

Best Ever Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
Pretty good, but not my favorite. I wanted to try this recipe since it's a little different than others I've tried, but I didn't like how the flavor of the confectioners' sugar came through. Thanks anyway, it was worth a try!

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2008
LOVE IT! I made it a meal by doubling the sauce and adding chicken, sauteed broccoli, onion, and carrot then added fresh bean sprouts and cilantro on top. This is a must try!

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
I live in Alaska and have a plentiful supply of salmon, which would be good except I have a strong aversion to the flavor! But I really do keep trying because of the health benefits and the fact that I have 4 friends that have filled up my freezer with it! I am glad I kept trying new recipes cuz this one is AWESOME! I actually enjoy it and it is SIMPLE! (although I don't like the smell it gives the house) Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2007
These are really good! I like that all the ingredients are things I always have on hand. I only baked them for 20 minutes- any more and they would have been less than perfect.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2006
Tried this on guests and when I asked them how they would rate it, they ALL said 5*! Added a bit more flour at the end to reach my prefered consistency. I accidentally forgot to add the sour cream and it was still great. I'll have to try it again- not a problem at all!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2006
This recipe was overall very good. The dough is very soft and moist, perfect for cinnamon rolls. I think the trick is to knead it a long time. Instead of kneading by hand 5 minutes, I let my KitchenAid mixer knead it for 5 minutes and the result was what I've always wanted in a cinnamon roll, but have never been able to create until now. The reason I am rating it 4 stars instead of five is because the brown sugar filling was still very granular after baking, and I definitely prefer an ooey-gooey filling. I will keep this as my recipe for the dough and figure out some alteration for the brown sugar mixture. Very simple:)

Different Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2006
LOVED this recipe! I didn't have the means to weigh out a pound of broccoli, but I didn't put in enough- this may just be the best way to eat broccoli, so don't skimp! Next time I'll try two HEAPING cups and see how it is:) Also, I added plain garlic powder instead of garlic salt, and omitted the extra salt all together. This is definitely a new staple in my family!

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2006
We tried these last night for a quick treat. I figured if they didn't turn out, there wasn't much to lose with just 3 ingredients and 5 minutes, but we ended up being very pleasantly surprised. Instead of parchment paper I used cooking spray and it seemed to be just fine, but don't move the cookies until they've cooled sufficiently or they will crumble into oblivion:). I added added a pinch of baking soda and the first batch we baked for 10 minutes and ate still warm-they were VERY tasty but SUPER crumbly. The second batch we baked for only 8 minutes and *actually let them cool* and they set up to crispy on the edges and chewy in the center- So good! My family devoured them even when they were crumbly!

Broccoli Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
This stir fry will be a staple in my family from now on! I had to make a few changes out of necessity. I didn't have the sherry, cornstarch, or red pepper on hand, so I just omitted the sherry, substituted flour for the cornstarch, added carrots cut into strips and vidalia onion....YUM! I have kids ages 4 and 2 and they just inhaled the veggies with the stir fry sauce on them. My 4 year old doesn't like veggies very much, but when I asked him which was his favorite in this recipe, he couldn't decide! Grown ups and kids alike will love this one!
