I have a lot of interests, and food is one of them. Despite living in Manhattan for 10 years or so now, I have not fallen into the ordering-out-every-night routine. I have always loved to experiment in my cooking - adding new foods, new spices. But lately I have really been stepping outside of my comfort zone, attempting to replicate various ethnic restaurant dishes in my own kitchen, from Indian tandoori and papadum to Ethiopian lamb to homemade pizza. I never replicate recipes exactly, always adding my own twist.

Soups! All kinds. I love being able to take a bunch of foods I like and mix them together.

Recently been successful with my very first dessert (profiterole) and my several attempts making dough (for pigs in blankets and pizza).
