I followed the directions and it came out chewy and terrible. Not crisp at all and no flavor.

Homemade Crispy Seasoned French Fries

Yum! Cooked on electric stovetop medium in frying pan with old vegetable oil. Thinned the batter. Soaked potatoes in cold sugar water and gave a quick pat dry. Super Yum!

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2005
Super awesome recipe! Husband loved it! I used 2 bags of microwave popcorn, being sure to remove all the kernals, and cut the ingredeants in half. Husband ate after the first stirring when gooey, and he and I ate after the second stirring when less gooey. Then we added some chocolate chips to some after the third stirring when crunchier. Popcorn is super awesome after every stirring. Any cook tme is great!

Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2005
I noticed some mixed reviews on measurements. I needed the recipe cut in half. I used 7 hot dogs cut up into 1/4" slices, 1 - 16.5 ounce can of Bushes original baked beans, 1 - 8.5 ounce box of Jiffy corn muffin mix. Cooked at 400 for 23 minutes. I did not cover with foil. Recipe yielded 4 servings. Casserole turned out really well. Husband really liked this recipe and I enjoyed it as well. I will probably use more baked beans next time as I like them alot.

Colonial Hot Buttered Rum

Awesome sweet and buttery taste! I only used 1 cup rum though, and it was plenty. Super way to warm up on a snowy cold winter afternoon! Absolutely delicious!

Strawberry Bread

Wow! This bread was moist and delicious. I didn't have any pecans, so I substituted walnuts. Excellent breakfast bread, I heated a piece each morning and spread with Country Crock. Yummy!
