Chili con Carne II

Very good recipe! Go easy on the cloves, though..The first time I made it I used ground instead of whole and it overpowered the chili a bit. A fraction of a pinch will do! I also found that the cinnamon sticks should only sit in the chili for a little while as that can overpower it as well. I make this chili whenever we entertain which is quite a bit and it's always the first to go!

This was so good and even better--so easy! I served it with a greek salad with olives and feta and made some tzatziki sauce from the site and it was to die for!! The ONLY tiny thing I would have changed is to have added just a pinch of salt to the marinade; a little bland for my taste, but that's it!!

Oh my goodness! I used this for a strawberry shortcake. TO DIE FOR! I just used the whole pint of cream instead of just what was listed. Perfect for a two layer cake...will make this again and again and again...

Delicious! I added some chopped cilantro along with the pepper and garlic. I didn't need the jar of taco sauce, instead I used the leftover filling sauce and poured it on top.

Awesome! As others suggested, I doubled amount of cinnamon, toasted hazelnuts for 15 minutes @ 375, and dipped some of them in chocolate, but it was not necessary. A very good recipe!

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Unbelievable!! I served these with a "sauce" made out of sour cream thinned down with salsa picante. Gone in twenty seconds!! They were so good! The only thing I changed was that I added habaneros instead of jalapenos because we like the extra heat.
