Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2012
I loved this! It was very easy. I didn't have mushrooms and it was still fabulous. My 11-year old daughter even liked it and she is an extremely picky eater. Hooray!!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2012
My husband said these were THE best brownies he has ever had... not just the best I've ever made. I'm a baking nut and I've tried many recipes, these are the best. They are dense and very chocolatey. I followed the ingredient list exactly (even included all 3 cups of sugar) because I wanted to try it "as is" and tweak from there, but I don't need to tweak it at all! I followed Gitana's review advice as far as the order in which I mix the ingredients together, as well as melting the chips with the butter versus adding them whole. I also greased my 9x13 pan with butter, lined with parchment, then greased the parchment to ensure the brownies wouldn't stick to the pan (my pet peeve). This always works like a charm. Baked for 35 minutes for a slightly chewy outside, but soft on the inside brownie. I'm so pleased with this recipe and have officially added it to my working household "go to" recipe book. YUM!!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: May 14, 2011
So simple and yummy! All but my pickiest child (who barely eats anything... sigh) gobbles this up. I've made this many times now and the only thing I add is extra garlic (either another clove or garlic salt). I usually serve it with broccoli or either noodles or rice. A great, fast, busy weeknight meal. :)

I followed dcbrush's prep recommendations and this turned out so good. It's the only way my son will eat cauliflower. Yay!

Mayan Couscous

Reviewed: May 14, 2011
I wasn't crazy about this. I think 1/4 cup cilantro was a bit overpowering for my taste.. However, it was still tasty and my husband liked it.

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

Reviewed: May 14, 2011
Soooo good! I followed the recipe exactly and my family of 6 devoured them all in less than a day. I pressed the dough with a sugared glass before baking, but ran out of granulated sugar so I had to top them with Splenda. They tasted wonderful and I will absolutely make them again.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
I made these for a party last night and they were so well received, they disappeared in a flash! I followed the recipe exactly except I opted to leave out the cayenne pepper and I sprinkled some italian bread crumbs on top. It was still wonderful. I followed another reviewer's suggestion and put the cream cheese in a baggie (freezer size if you're doubling) and worked the filling ingredients in the bag, snipped the corner and used it as a pastry bag to fill the mushrooms. Worked like a charm! You may want to double this recipe because they go fast! Thank you, Angie!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
I didn't change a thing with this recipe and they turned out perfectly. I've been on a quest for several years now for the perfect rolled sugar cookie and I haven't found one I like as much as this. I refrigerated the dough overnight, then rolled out on floured/powdered sugared parchment paper and baked on a silpat. The dough is not too sticky and very easy to work with. The finished cookie retains it's shape and tastes great! Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe, Jill!
