I am a single mom with three wonderful boys who have diverse eating habits. I have been a vegetarian since 1970 and have taught vegetarian cooking . I am a firm believer that what you put into your body is directly connected to how you look and feel. I am an advocate for daily exercise and ran the Baltimore Marathon for the first time and finished.

I love to create salads with unusual ingrediants that people would expect. I also like to make comfort foods from the 50's. I enjoy cooking mexican, mediterranean, chinese and eastern european dishes.

I like to make blintzes, potato latkes, challah and vegetarian chopped liver for the various jewish holidays
My cooking triumphs
I have made lox from eggplant and ate it on a bagel with cream cheese. I have made many recipes from no written recipe as I come from a long line of cooks who eyeball everything
