4H Banana Bread
I really thought banana bread was just banana bread until I made this recipe. Outstanding. Moist and light, even using 1/2 whole wheat flour. Everything else exactly according to the recipe. (which I doubled, then immediately doubled 2 more times!) I got a little freaked out after my second batch was baking I read reviews saying this "needs" spices. Lies. It's amazing as is. If you prefer spices, then go for it, but you won't be disappointed either way.

Refried Beans Without the Refry
So cheap and easy. I will be tweaking the spices to my preferences, as would anyone, but they are pretty tasty as is. I mashed them in my stand mixer (the same way I mash potatoes) making this just about the easiest process imaginable. Love.

Almond Butter
This recipe isn't written terribly clearly, but it does make good almond butter. Wait until the ball stage to add oil then KEEP PROCESSING until you get the consistency you want. The natural oils release as it is processed, and it takes a long time. It's the same for other nut butters, but almond takes longer. If you do add honey (which I prefer) wait to add it at the end.
