Kid-Approved Sweet and Sour Chicken Sauce
I wrote this recipe! PLEASE disregard the vinegar! You can use vinegar or ketchup, but not both! Also, you can use orange/ lemon lime soda or ginger ale instead of pineapple juice and water. Cut the sugar way down if you use soda. It is also fantastic with brown sugar and/ or soy sauce. I make this almost daily. (with whatever combo of ingredients I have on hand). The recipe is so forgiving and it will whip up in a sauce pan in no time. . My kids dip everything in it!

4c. oats is too many! Since I dumped them in and it was too thick and crumbly, I added a cup of applesauce and another egg and they turned out fine. Not as sweet as I would time I will double the brown sugar!

Sweet and Sour Sauce II
I didn't have tomato paste, white vinegar or pineapple tidbits. I used ketchup and apple cider vinegar and pineapple chunks, including the juice! It was so yummy. I poured it over chicken nuggets and rice and the kids gobbled it up like it was take out!
