Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2003
It made an easy, quick dinner! My husband was a bit skeptical from looking at the ingredients, but enjoyed it. I didn't bother with measuring the ingredients....I just spread some mayo on the ckicken, and then coated with crumbs until it looked about right. Next time I may cut up the chicken into bite sized pieces, toss them in mayo, then toss them in the crumbs. Thanks for the recipe!!

Gelatin Spritz Cookies

These are the best! Lime, raspberry, and orange work the best for flavor and deepest color.

Banana Muffins II

These turned out well! I added a bit of vanilla to the batter, and then sprinkled a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon over the top. They freeze well also. :)

Chocolate Peanut Treats

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2008
These were amazing! They were so quick and easy to make! I don't care for chunky peanut butter, so I used creamy. I also was out of semi-sweet chips and subbed milk chocolate chips instead. I took them to a gathering and everyone loved them. Thanks!

Can't Leave Alone Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
Very rich and gooey! It would be fun to experiment with different flavors of cake mix and/or chips. 5-19-12: I made these with devil's food cake mix and butterscotch chips. OH MY! I don't think they were left in long enough because they were SO gooey that it was a challange to eat them without a fork. But they were still heavenly!

The only thing I did different was to leave the pecans out of the topping. Yum!

Herbed Biscuit Knots

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
I made these with a 16 oz tube of biscuits and they produced a bigger knot - very yummy! I also kept the oven at 350 and baked for about 10 minutes. Perfect!

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2008
I thought it was great! I just finished the leftovers for lunch. It is rather rich, so make sure that you have at least 2 or 3 sides to help offset the richness.

Barbecue Beef Patties

Very delicious! They tasted similar to my favorite meatloaf, only a lot more moist and a lot less time to make. :)

Northwest Steakhouse Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
I have a question for the submitter: Would this by chance be from the Northwestern Steakhouse in Mason City, IA? If it is, you are my new best friend. :)

Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
Very good! My three kids love blueberry pancakes, but they are very picky eaters and I was worried that they would reject these due to the whole wheat. No need to worry! Even one of my sons - who eats them plain (no butter or syrup) ate heartily!

Indoor S'mores

I've been making this since I learned it in 6th grade home ec. Usually we've poured it into a big glob and eaten it that way - not even bothering for it to cool. Yum!

Pancake Stack with Syrup

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
These are outstanding! They turn out nice and fluffy! I once suggested to a good friend that she make pancakes for dinner (since they were quick and easy), but when she said she didn't have any mix, I said "you don't need mix!" and gave her this recipe. Now she says her son's favorite thing is homemade pancakes. One thing I added is a little vanilla - enhances the flavor. I've only made they syrup once, but that was pretty good, too!
