About this Cook
I am the Texas born and bred... The PROUD Mommy of 3 Texas Tornados and 1 Georgia Peach. My husband and I have been married over 21 years now and we have 4 boys 20, 17, 15, and 9 yrs. I have one in college, two in highschool, and one in 2nd grade. lol I am also in school going towards my BSN. That doesn't leave room for much else. I look for quick delicious meals that make a lot of food. (With 5 Guys is there any wonder for that??) Lucky for them, they eat whatever I put in front of them, so that makes my job as a cook pretty easy. I enjoy cooking the favorites of my childhood and finding good recipes to match my memories...
My favorite things to cook
Homestyle favorites, desserts, anything that strikes my fancy....

Chicken and Dumplings III
This recipe is the BOMB! I have 4 boys- 3teens and a 2nd grader PLUS my hubby. I followed the recipe but had to quadruple the recipe. I cooked boneless breasts in broth, and added cut carrots (plus 2 shredded- I have to get veggies in them any way I can). I thought I would have left overs- BUT everyone ate 'till they almost burst. Quick, Easy and Tasty- Who can ask for more...

Buttermilk Chocolate Cake with Fudge Icing
I did not make the cake but have used the icing over a store bought cake mix. It was delicious!! And very easy-- There's no way to tell you didn't do it all from scratch. Thank you for such a delicious icing recipe. I will use it again and again!
