The Best Parmesan Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2012
Sooo! Good! The combination of the croutons being crunchy on the top and soaking up all the goodness on the bottom was the best. My recommendation though, is to not use the cheicken breasts that are cheap and have a bunch of water or juices infused with them. That stuff ends up cooking out of the meat and watering down the sauce. Use real chicken breasts.

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2012
Thanks for the recipe. I hated eating salmon before. I couldn't get past the fishyness. But this recipe was wonderful and now I truly love eating it. Thank you!

Spinach and Bacon Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2011
Grteat recipe. We ate this the first night and it was really good, but then I had some leftovers the next day, and I couldn't get enough. It's a good thing there was only a little left, or I would have really pigged on it. Thanks!

Easy Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2011
No offense, but I wasn't really impressed. The taste was okay, but not really flavorful. It was an easy recipe, but lacked something. I may play with this one a bit to try to find out how to give it a little pizzazz! If I can't find a solution, I'll just stick with my pressure cooker stroganoff recipe.

Pork with Peach and Black Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
I had a hard time with this one, but I was optimistic and thought I would give it a try. My daughter loved it. I thought it was okay, and my husband didn't say much. I made it as the recipe called for, but if I make it again I will have to tweek. The first time I ate it, it was good, but I had some leftovers the next day and had a hard time stomaching it. I think it was the look, and the fact that the beans went to mush. I may just eliminate the beans all together next time. we'll see. Thank you for sharing!

Margie's Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
Thank you for the recipe. I made it as the recipe says, and the pork chops were nice and tender, but it was a little too much vinegar/sugary tangy for me. I think that overall, it is a good recipe, but I will have to tweak it to my taste. I was hopeing to use some of the sauce on my mashed potatoes, but it just didn't seem right. I was thinking it was going to be more of a salty, flavorful gravy, but it was just to sweet for me. I'm going to play with this recipe and reduce the vinegar and sugar to try to get it to come out more to my taste. Thank you.

Pumpkin Pie Bars by EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
This was very good. I used the suggestion of making it in a glass/ceramic dish instead of metal. It made the crust candy very nicely. I'm not one for liking pumpkin, but the pumpkin flavor was not too overbearing. I think I would like to try the same crust recipe with other fillings like apples. I think it could work with just about any pie filling. Thank you.

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
Very good recipe. My husband loved it. The only thing I'm going to explore a little more is to make the honey mustard sauce a little thicker. It was a little runny with all the juices coming out of the chicken. So I'm definately going to keep this recipe around and tweek it a little. Thank you!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2009
I thought that this is a great recipe with the perfect amount of flavor. Some can be too salty, or too bland, but this was perfect. Also, it's a great base for adding your own ingredients to it. Thank you!

Heavenly Potatoes and Ham

I think this is a yummy recipe. It is very rich and filling. I think it would go great for a potluck, but it was a little overwhelming as a main dish. Thank you, I think I will make this for Easter this year.

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
I made this recipe as is. It came out really dry. Next time I make it, I will make sure to add at least 1-2 cups milk. I also think that there was something missing. Next time I will add peas, mushrooms, maybe some chopped celery, something to add to it. The flavor was good, just way to dry and needed something else.

Asian Beef with Snow Peas

It was good, but I did add a little more sugar. It was too salty at first. Next time I am going to make a double batch just of the sauce, and sweeten it up.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2008
I have always had trouble with my meatloaf to stick together. This does it just wonderfully. And the brownsugar and ketchup mix well during the cooking. When I took it out, I was wondering what to do with the liquid at the bottom of the pan. Well, scoop it out and drizzle it on the meat. It makes for the best glaze. My husband said it was better than his mom's. That's got to be the best compliment a person could get. Thanks.

Rich and Simple French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2008
I thought that the soup was good, but it just doesn't compare to my mom's. I know it really isn't fair to compare it. Like other reviews, you really need to carmalize the onions. Much better flavor. I also substituted the sherry with brandy. Mmmm! I also used Muenster Cheese, just because I really, really like it. Thanks for a good recipe!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
The sauce for this dish is so rich and creamy. Mmmmm! I made this last night for my husband and daughter and just fell in love with it. My daughter, who is 3 years old, just gobbled it up. I had a little extra sauce left over, so I put it on some noodles because I just couldn't let it go to waste. I had a little trouble with the cheese melting out of the chicken, but the taste of the sauce made up for it!
