Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
I am rating this as my third batch is cooking. These are THE BOMB!! I can honestly admit that I never bake anything because I am just not good at it. These are fool proof! They are warm and super soft on the inside and crispy on the outside! The only changes I made were: I used a whole stick of butter & I added a tsp of vanilla. Thats it! Oh, and I used Adams real natural peanut butter. I recommend these! I cooked them for 10 minutes and took them out to sit for 2 or 3 then put in a container...perrrfect!

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2008
We absolutely LOVED these! They were SO fast and easy to make:) I added about 3/4 cup sour cream to the chicken mixture for creaminess. I also stuffed the mixture in egg roll wrappers, and cooked on 425 for 10 min on each side. They were AWESOME!

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
Very very good! Perfect consistency. A little warning to everyone else though: the recommended amount of beef really does feed 6 people! I added in 2lbs because I was thinking that the original couldnt possibly feed 6 people...yeah, I was wrong! I had like half left over!

ALL I can say is AMAZING. I did everything in the recipe the same except: Used suasage, and omitted any hot sauces, cayenne pepper, or green chilis. My fam doesnt like spicy. They RANTED and RAVED over this recipe. I will keep this forever!!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2008
This was AMAZING!! I tweaked it to how I wanted it. I added a TON of cheeses and used only two pounds of pork sausage. Everything else was the same though. Oh yeah, I didnt use ricotta, I just substituted a TON of cheese in the layers instead. Anyway, from now on, I will add 3 pounds of meat since we like it meatier. I had SO many compliments, the sauce tasted FABULOUS!!

This recipe is almost identical to my mom-in-law's recipe. I made these last night, and I did add one thing. 1/4 cup of shredded Parmesean cheese to chicken mixture. It was VERY good!!! We love these:)!

My friend makes this all the time. She gave me this exact recipe, then I found it! I have had it tons of times and it is amazing. I still have yet to make it, but I know this is the same recipe she uses. GOOD LUCK! Oh PS- she puts chopped almonds on top:)

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
This was AMAZING!!! I used half a box of bow tie pasta. 8 oz cheddar cheese, 8 oz Velveeta (2% milk), and I added browned sausage. I followed the same instructions with the cheese sauce and everything. We omitted the bread crumbs. The sauce was awesome! I have always made homemade mac n cheese with a cheese sauce from scratch. But with a half and half version of both cheeses it was very good. My husband who is a big skeptic of mac n cheese loved it! I will make this foreverr:)

I followed the recipe exactly except for a few suggestions. My it is just my taste buds, but it was just okay. I probably wont make it again just because if its not great, I wont put it in family favorites. It is creative though!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2007
I didnt really like this recipe. I did everything the way that viewers had suggested. The flavors werent there for me or my husband. Maybe our palate's cannot appreciate the sophisticated flavors of balsamic vinegar. I have no idea, but this one wasnt for us.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
My husband and I loved this recipe. I made the following changes: Used 2 cans petite diced tomatos drained. Used italian sausage. (Next time I will use a regular sweet (not hot) sausage). I used 3 cloves of pressed garlic. 1 1/2 cups half and half. (Next time I will use 1 cup). I bought the parsely and chopped it up...but it really make it taste any better. Oh, I added a dash of italian seasoning, and 3 dashes red pepper flakes instead of the original amount. It was great! I recommend it:)

Unbelievable Rolls

These turned out ok. Besides the fact that they tasted "yeasty" and a little bitter...Im sure I can work with this recipe. At least the next door college boy liked them. I gave him ALL my rolls that I made.

This had a great taste. I wish I would have basted it more on the BBQ. I think the first 6-8 taste good. Then i just started getting sick of shrimp after the first 20 or so...otherwise great marinade

Korean BBQ Beef (Pul-Kogi)

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
I really did not like this recipe. The "Sesame Beef" recipe on here is 10 times better. It may have been partially the meat it called for, as well as a few ingredients. As far as I remember I dumped the left overs...not a family favorite and just didnt do it for us...
