This is a great recipe! I used the peanut butter/chocolate swirl chips and a bag of heath chips. YUM!

I was a little skeptical about the mountain dew.. but it turned out great! The kids even liked it. Easy and delicious. My son loved them so much he asked to bring one to his teacher the next day!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
My husband LOVED this pork. I used a funky colored bbq sauce (kind of orange) so it looked funny.. but he said it tasted great.

Apple Dumplings I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
My entire family was wowed! I diced the apples and used 1/2 brown and 1/2 white sugar and used a tad less water. I didn't put the sauce on until the last 10 mins as others have suggested. Lovely!

Grandma's Gingersnaps

Very nice texture. Just like my mom made when I was growing up. And the aroma fills the house. Perfect for a crisp fall day.

Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2005
I love this pot pie. As a former Wisconsinite.. I love cheese. :) This pie was easy and tastes great. I use Pillsbury pie crusts for this recipe, as my homemade crusts don't usually turn out all that well. I baked the bottom crust for about 15 mins and 325 so that it won't be soggy after the chicken mixture is put in. This is a very nice recipe because you can add/substitute different veggies. (My kids don't like celery) Thanks!

Butter Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2005
This is a great recipe. I make this often, and it disappears fast. I sometimes use a beef roast and after it is done cooking, shred the beef, put it back in the crock pot with all the "gravy" and let it simmer for about another 5 minutes. This makes it extra moist, when sometimes in a crock pot the portion of meat not submerged in liquid can get over cooked. I serve mine over my whipped potatoes. I am not a potato eater, but I will eat them with this wonderful beef on top. Great recipe!

Pumpkin Spice Cookie

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2005
This recipe is wonderful! I do NOT like pumpkin pie, and I love these cookies. My kids do,too. As far as the texture being cakey.. it is made with a cake mix, so that would be kind of a clue. I frosted mine with storebought cream cheese frosting. Yummy!
