About this Cook
I am a foodie through and through. Love to eat, cook and think about food and recipes. I've been coming to and recommending this website for years but am ready to get involved with the site now by reviewing and submitting recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook both asian and southwestern styles of food and cajun as well. I grew up in an Italian household but never developed a love for cooking it as much as just eating it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up in my house, Christmas Eve was my absolute favorite day of the year because of the traditional dinner we would have. Spaghetti with a red shrimp sauce, stuffed mussels, antipasta and of course lots of love!
My cooking triumphs
I have learned to roll my own sushi and have actually moved into the area of working with raw fish. A few months ago I rolled 200 pieces for a party I hosted.
My cooking tragedies
Dry roasts! I am absolutely tragic when it comes to the slow cooker. I end up drying everything out.

Baby BLT
I have been making these for years. Always requested at parties and never quite enough!

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana
Love, love, love this recipe! Only thing I did different was use hot Italian sausage. It eliminates the need to add crushed red pepper. My mouth waters every time I think of this soup.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce
Even people that don't like cilantro love this dip! Thanks for this recipe! I have made it and shared it more times than I can count.
