Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
This is my new go-to recipe. I don't melt the butter, just soften it and cream it with the sugar. It comes out moist and flavorful every time.

Best of Everything Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
I love this recipe! I made it exactly as written and ended up with 12 burgers. I popped them in the freezer for a bit after shaping them and they held together nicely for me. They freeze well - I wrapped them individually after cooking and stacked them in the freezer.

General Tsao's Chicken

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
I've made this recipe several times and have found that making 1.5 batches of sauce but decreasing the amount of cornstarch by 1/2 gives you a nice sauce that doesn't turn to jelly. No MSG, pepper flakes since I can't readily get the peppers and boneless skinless thighs work best for me. I serve it with Jasmine rice and broccoli. My family loves this recipe.

Apple Enchilada Dessert

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
I made the recipe exactly as written and found that they need to bake longer than 20 minutes. Even so, my family enjoyed them. I found them too sweet, but will definitely make for my family again - baking longer this time.

Pecan Sour Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2006
It was great. I had to leave out the nuts due to allergies. I split the batter and baked one in a loaf pan and 2 in small brownie pans. I left the loaf plain, but I spread raspberry preserves between the other 2 and drizzled with chocolate glaze. Fabulous!

Mom's Yeast Rolls

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
These have turned out great for me every time. The dough is quite a bit sticky, but I work flour into them as I am forming them and let them raise a little more before baking them. They always come out nice and fluffy that way. I find that if I don't give them the extra raising time, they are heavy like my Gramma's rolls. Either way, we love them. I've also used this recipe for cinnamon rolls, raisin bread and pepperoni rolls. It's trial and error for your desired results.

Double Chocolate Biscotti

Love this recipe! I used white chocolate swirled chips and it came out great. I have made it multiple times and it just flies out the kitchen.

Biscotti Toscani

Reviewed: May 12, 2006
We loved this recipe. I left out the nuts due to an allergy and put mini chocolate chips in the batter. Delicious! My mother-in-law took most of them home with her.

Great recipe - I made as is except for adding a bag of stir fry veggies. The sauce thickened nicely for me and my kids loved it.

Baby Back Ribs

These are great and so easy. I also used a dry rub on them. I made them at Easter and am making them again for tomorrow. They just fall off the bone.

Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies I

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2005
Good recipe. I made it exactly as it said, except to add about 1/4 c. of milk to help with the dryness everyone else commented on. Will definitely make again.
