Semi retired due to a medical condition, At home Dad with part time job. Mom is a mid level manager with a national organization. Love to try new recipes and occassionally conjur up a winner or two.

Seafood on Christmas Eve. Holiday specific foods. Lamb at Easter, Corned beef and cabbage at St. Pasquale's Day, ( Hey, I'm Italian get over it) BBQ and Grilling on Memorial Day and 4th. They are not the same thing.
My cooking triumphs
My pizza and my meatballs. Everyone loves 'em. Took many years but still always try to make 'em better
My cooking tragedies
Couldn't bake a cake if the existance of all mankind depended on it. Tots with fingerpaints could decorate better than I could.

New York System Hot Wiener Sauce I
Wow! Just like our favorite Hot Weiner place in North Providence. Didn't change a thing. This is what RI New York System Weiners are s'posed to taste like. Wish I had a coffee cabinet. (Rhodese for coffee milkshake). Simmered on low for about 45 to 60 minutes. Stirred occaisionally. YUM!

Butterscotch Bread Pudding
Holy cow. I made this for a breakfast that my wife is still having with the girls, I had to review this before I forgot. They are raving and all want a copy of the recipe. Followed recipe to the letter. Fabulous!

Braided Easter Egg Bread
Wow! this bread was easy and very tasty. The first one isn't cold yet and I'm already starting to make more. As others have stated mine only took about 25 minutes to bake to a perfect golden brown. Way to go Holly!
