Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
Very Good. I used 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can cream of celery (no cream of chicken in the pantry), seasoned whole chicken cut up, and chicken broth in place of the water and lots of cheese. Thanks,

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
My husband and two boys raved over this recipe. Voted to have it at least once per week. I only had 1/2 cup sour cream on hand, no olives, no chili beans. I used drained canned diced tomatoe and black beans and regular onions sauted with the ground beef. I will try the reciped as directed next time, maybe the boys will elect to make it. ;)

Indian Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2007
I wasn't too impressed with this recipe and neither were the other party guests. I don't know what I did wrong, but it was pretty bland.

Brian's Favorite Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2007
This is the only pasta sauce I make now. I let mine cook all day. I did modify it a bit, I use two cans tomato sauce, 1 can diced tomatoes,1 can of paste and I cut the sugar to 1 TBLS.

Lima and Navy Bean and Ham Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2007
This soup is great. I love the hardiness of it. I made a batch up and froze it in order to take it to Moose Camp. Boy was it wonderful after a day of hunting.

Simply the Easiest Beef Brisket

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2007
I love this recipe. I put everything together about 10:00am and let it marinade in the fridge. I take it out and let it sit about 1 hour before I cook it. It tastes great the next day also.

French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
This is a good simple recipe. I love the flavor of the juice. My roasts turn out dry though. I don't know if it is the cut of meat or if I am cooking it too long. I will try it again though.

This wasn't what I expected. If you really, really like raisins, then you would probably rate this 5 stars.

Roasted Rack of Lamb

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
This was absolutley fantastic. I broke from tradition and made this for Thanksgiving dinner. I cooked three racks for 5 people and I had 1/2 a rack left over. I only did one thing different, I made my own bread crumbs because store bought are too fine. I served them with twice baked potatoes from Taste of Home and Garlic Buttered Green Beans from Allrecipes. Yum, Yum

Cranberry Pheasant

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
This was good. The left-overs are better. I give it 5-stars because it is an easy and fast recipe. Usually pheasant recipes require too much prep...flour, fry and then bake.... Thanks for the recipe.

True-Blue Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2007
I didn't use the low-fat ingredients, maybe that is what made it taste so bad. My husband didn't even like it.

Green Bean and Portobello Mushroom Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
My family loved this casserole. The sliced almonds add a nice crunch. The first time I made it, it was a little salty for my taste. The second time, I cut back on salt. Yummy....

Tex-Mex Burger with Cajun Mayo

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
This is an "EXCELLENT" burger. The only thing I changed was the jalepenos. I minced up jarred jalepeno slices this added a really nice bite and you could actually taste the jalepeno.
