Mango-Strawberry Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
This was delicious and was a huge hit. When I make it again I will add a bit less vinegar. We ate it with cinnamon pita chips and this was delicious!

Easy Lemon Bars for Junior Chefs

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
Wow! This is delicious. I made two. One of them was lemon and the other one was strawberry. They were both delicious, but we prefer strawberry. All I did was use strawberry pie filling instead of lemon. YUM! This is easy and fast and relatively low calorie.

Beef Tips

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2008
Wow. I feel bad giving this review, because I usually try to be nice. I just do not see how this is getting such good ratings. We took the advice and eliminated the extra salt, I used low-salt soy sauce, and I eliminated the extra water at the end. I ended up with beef tips that were far too salty to eat and way too runny. I had high hopes for this recipe because it sounded wonderful with all of the modifications. I do NOT recommend this.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
I made this recipe as is for Father's Day and it was a hit. Everyone loved it. My husband doesn't eat salmon, so I marinated tilapia in with our salmon and he loved it with the tilapia too. I will definitely make this again!

Ambrosia Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
This was very good, however I would suggest skipping the spices. The nutmeg and cinnamon didn't go over very well. I do plan to make it again, just without the spices.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
This recipe turned out pretty tasty, but I would make a couple suggestions. I would add only about half of the basil. Also, it was very runny. I had to add about 6T of Flour and 6T of water mixed together. I also added more bacon than was called for. It was a hit!

No Bake Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2006
This was the first time I've made these and they turned out wonderful! The only thing I changed was that I used creamy PB instead of crunchy. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly and these were great! Thanks for the recipe.

Easy and Delicious Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
This recipe was SOOO good. My VERY picky boyfriend loved it. I added green peppers, black olives and served over egg noodles. Oh, I used cream of chicken soup with herbs, not regular. Overall, delicious. Chicken just fell apart. For those of you who said Italian dressing was overpowering, I'm guessing you forgot to drain it. Because you couldn't really taste it. Make sure you drain that before mixing it up.

Microwaved Potatoes Lyonnaise

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
These potatoes were not our favorite. They were very bland. They needed much more butter and salt and even then, still would've been bland.

Oven Barbecued Beef Brisket I

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
This was a great brisket! My boyfriend was dreading this meal because he thought briskets were always dry and overcooked. Nope, it was very moist! We didn't even use knives.

This recipe was absolutely delicious! I used four bananas and a few more wafers. But overall, this is so yummy! The best banana pudding I've ever had!

Hearty Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: May 29, 2006
This was wonderful! It was a hit with my family! I only made two changes. Instead of 1 1/2 pounds of hamburger, I used one pound of hamburger and 1/2 pound Italian sausage. I also reduced pepper to 1 teaspoon instead of tablespoon.

Bob's Mexican Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: May 21, 2006
This is one of the best recipes I've ever made. It was delicious!!! I will keep it as a regular. I did take the advice of other cooks to use some cream cheese and to use tortilla chips instead of corn flakes. This was FANTASTIC!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
These were delicious. We of course did not use beef, we used ground chicken. And I couldn't find the pickled ginger, so we omitted that. One thing that is unclear is when to add the meat back to the mix. So I just never removed it and cooked the onions with it, then added other ingredients. This was truly delicious. We love P.F. Changs lettuce wraps and this is as close as you'll get to them, I think.

Brooklyn Girl's Penne Arrabiata

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2005
This was absolutely delicious and simple to make! I wouldn't change a thing! It's a great Italian dish for my boyfriend, who can't eat dairy. It's rare that I find a delicious Italian meal that doesn't include cheese!
