my son made these in school. Tasty! I wouldn't say the BEST, but that is just my opinion. Everyone's tastes are different.

KRAFT RECIPE MAKERS Chicken Bruschetta Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2013
Made this tonight. IMO, really too much effort with bad results. Tasted like a salty tomato. I have made better with my own ingredients. I will certainly try the other Recipe Makers if the sodium content is lower.

Baked French Fries I

IMO, we did not care for these. Next time I will just use olive oil and salt. Did not taste the spices used.

Three Cheese Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
SO GOOD!!! my changes are not majorly altering the recipe. I added SHARP cheddar instead and one medium sliced onion. Oh, and russet potatoes (I usually only buy these). I LOVE THIS RECIPE so good and fantastic leftovers (if you have any).

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2013
good stuff! 4 stars because of my "altering". i used Corona beer. I also added 2tsp of garlic powder, a dash of caraway, and 1 bay leaf. Had 3 carrots, 4 large potatoes, one medium onion, and used a whole small sized cabbage. 4lbs of corned beef. Was sooooo good.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
loved it! I followed the recipe to a "T". I should've made this 4 stars because it looked too thin. I added a 1/2 can of tomato paste to thicken it up. Yummm!

Awesome Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2012
YUM! i gave only 4 because of the very minor changes. i used 1Tbsp. soy and 1Tbsp. oyster sauce. I used beaten egg to seal the wrappers. i omitted the shrimp. i used 4 cups of shredded cole slaw mix (cabbage and carrots). did not have celery on hand. w/ these changes, it made 9 decent sized egg rolls. Love them. definitely a keeper!

Waikiki Meatballs

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2012
too much pineapple IMO. and i love pineapple. yes, the meatballs need to be kicked up a notch, bit bland. I used chopped onions instead of minced. I also baked my meatballs ahead of time. I also used sauteed red and orange peppers.

good! but going to fill with something else next time. The pepperoni is too salty! could be the brand (Hormel). But what a fun recipe, it is a keeper!

Spinach Artichoke Hummus with Roasted Red Peppers

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
Made this for Christmas Eve events. It barely got touched. In my area, the ingredients were expensive. It had potential and it was very pretty, but I will not make again.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2011
Only 4 stars because it needs some "doctoring". I added marjoram, paprika, salt and pepper. one can cream of celery and cream of chicken. I threw in some carrots, onion, and celery. I used Country Style Grands biscuits (rolled flat and sliced up) Only one can is plenty for a 6qt cooker. I had 4 boneless/skinless chicken breasts. Then it turned out great. My family loved it.

Fresh Frozen Cucumbers

No thank you. I followed the recipe. I just thought they were too sweet. I don't call it a total waste. But it was an extensive wait for uninspiring results. I will search for a better recipe.

Enchilada Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
Good recipe. I agree w/ some changes it is better. I decreased the amount of cornbread. I used some Taco seasoning to my meat mixture to kick it up a notch. I did not use tomato sauce. I only used more enchilada sauce. Next time I will put some chopped onions in it. I served over Spanish rice and a side of corn. Good dinner idea.

Ham and Asparagus Strata

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2011
Good recipe. But it definitely needs more tweaking. This recipe could be adapted many ways. I think I would make a breakfast strata. Make sure you use a shallow dish. I used a deeper one and it had to cook for 1 1/2 hours. definitely not worth it. It was plenty moist. Skip the mustard too. It was not great in it.

Cabbage Rolls II

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2011
OFF THE HOOK GOOD! I only gave 4 stars because a bit of tweaking. I added garlic powder to the ground beef and onion mix. And I also almost quadrupled the recipe. I used 2 (15 oz. cans of sauce), 4 tbsp. brown sugar, 4 tbsp. lemon juice, 4 tbsp. Worcestershire. This was the exact flavor I remember from when my mother made it when I was a child. But she made it in the oven. I will be keeping this in my recipe box forever :)

Mexician Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
I was torn between 3 and 4 stars. I followed the recipe to the T. IMHO, way too much sour cream and mayo. It ruins the whole dish. The spices are spot on delicious. Warm sour cream is not good. This recipe is definitely a keeper, but I will put my sour cream on the side.
