Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies stayed soft and moist. I used only the egg yolks, as advised by the cookie advice column on this site to make sure the cookies didn't dry out. I used vanilla pudding mix, but I'm not sure what it was supposed to do for the cookies, because I couldn't taste it in the cookie afterwards. Regardless, these cookies live up to its name!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

These cookies were wonderful. They were heavenly soft right out the oven, and mine only needed 8 minutes. The first batch, I left in for 10 and they came out a bit crunchy. I cut back on 1/4 cup of sugar and added some coconut instead, but I think 1/2 of coconut would be better. Also, when I was mixing the batter, my wooden spoon snapped! Be prepared for a workout if you don't have an electric mixer.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

I won't make the same mistake with this recipe again - I'll make sure to double it! Wow, this was really tasty. I was afriad I would mess up the cream mixture, but it was so simple! I also added corn and carrots and added a lot of veggies than requested. I've made this soup twice now, once with my own stock (which was better) rather than the buillion. Thanks very much!

Buttery Cooked Carrots

Mmmmm! I was looking for a way to jazz up boring carrots and I certainly found it. I used regular carrots cut up into coins and it was fine. (Of course, baby carrots look much nicer and require no prep) :) I'll certainly be using this again!

I couldn't agree with this being a "savory" recipe, if anything, it was really quite bland. The cream corn was pretty messy. All this was was ground beef, corn, and potatoes layer on one another. No real flavour except those three ingredients. Thanks -- but I'll keep looking.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Wow!!! This was really great. I used a pork roast, and was hesitant to add the cream soup, because it was the cheapest brand. Regardless, this came out beautifully, and the huge bone in the middle of the roast just slipped right out. I added some garlic and onions to the gravy as it cooked for some extra flavour. Thanks for this recipe, I shall be using a great majority of my roasts for this from now on!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

These were simply amazing! I really enjoy pumpkin pie, so I was excited to make these cookies. I'm really happy how they turned out. All three batches that I have made have all came out wonderful. I cut back on some butter and sugar. I also added some extra spice (especially cinnamon) as advised through other reviews. I also made the glaze, which was plentiful and a sweet touch to the cookies. Thank you for sharing!

Shrimp Fettucine Alfredo

This was pretty good. I would have cut down on the garlic though, but that's just personal taste. It took a long time to prepare, and I did the shrimp seperate from the sauce and threw it in when the sauce was pretty much done.

Bou's Chicken

This was a great hit at my table! I kept dunking my finger in the pot while it simmered just to taste the sauce. My boyfriend said "make sure you give this recipe a good rating on that website!" I used the left over sauce when making homemade burgers. I just mixed it in with groud beef and onions. It was great! Thank you so much.

Maple Apple Crisp

This turned out pretty well. My boyfriend and I couldn't get enough of it! The apples became really soft and mushy, like apple sauce. I only wish that there was more of that great crumble on top! I will make this again for sure!

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

I LOVE these cookies! They always turn out perfect and they stay soft, unlike other cookies I "try" to make. My boyfriend tries to snatch them as soon as they're done baking. Thanks for the great recipe!

German Potato Pancakes

These taste wonderful! It's well worth going through the trouble to hand grate all those potatoes. When frying, they do use quite a bit of oil, though. Thanks for a great change from regular pancakes!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These didn't turn out for me. I think I made the cookies too big (even though I measured 1/4 cup per cookie). This resulted in the cookies having to take longer to bake, and therefore dried it out. The cookies came out hard as a rock. I will try these again though, but I will make them smaller.
