Curried Butternut Squash and Pear Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2014
I love this soup. Be ready for it to stink up your house. The curry smell lingers. Also, if you are living Paleo or Whole 30 it fits with the diet if you skip the half and half (you could sub coconut milk but it's not needed) and replace the butter with ghee or olive oil.

Lemony Poppy Seed Muffins

Delicious! We have made this recipe three times now. We used fat free greek yogurt and an addition of 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract is tasty. Thanks so much.

Fresh Asparagus Soup

Excellent soup. We subbed chicken broth for the vegetable broth, used sour cream instead of yogurt and skipped the lemon and parmesan. My kids ate it and asked for seconds.

Graham Crusted Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
We actually skip the spices (except salt) and cook them with just the graham cracker crumbs. Then we serve them with homemade applesauce. They are moist and yummy!

These were ok. I agree with the other reviewers that they were mushy. Next time I'll do them with only one banana

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
These were just ok. Certainly not a KK. They were good warm and looked pretty. The dough was bland, sort of tasted like fry bread, and definitely not sweet. The frosting helped but it wasn't our favorite frosting recipe either.

Lemon Chiffon Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
This was OK. A nice light lemon flavor, it was a little egg-y for us, but we enjoyed it as a change from our usual desserts.

This was just OK. I followed the recipe exactly and it never really thickened up. But my kids liked it, hence the four stars.

Breadsticks with Parmesan Butter

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2007
Easy, yummy recipe. I did have to use a bit more flour and baked them closer to 15 minutes. I whipped them up in my Kitchanaid to avoid hand kneading and they were fabulous.

Banana Crepes

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
A great crepes recipe. We use the recipe for the crepes and fill with strawberries or other fresh fruit. They are just a bit sweet, not too thin or too thick and cook so easily.
