Cinnamon Almond Butter
Someone gave me a bunch of almonds and I was trying to find something to do with them. Overall I liked this recipe. I used honey instead of white sugar and added olive oil (as suggested in a previous review). It wasn't quite creamy enough for me, but the flavor is great. I will make this again. Maybe next time I will take out the cinnamon and add a little cocoa powder too it to make it a bit like Nutella.

No Tomato Pasta Sauce
I can't eat red tomatoes and have been looking for alternatives to Alfredo and pesto sauce for quite a while. I really liked this recipe. It mimicked "red" sauce so well, I had to train my brain that it was ok to eat :) it came out a little too thick, but I think that was because I used fresh carrots instead of canned. My husband (the anti-vegetarian) and my picky teen even tried it and liked it.

Quick and Almost-Professional Buttercream Icing
I have never used butter instead of shortening in frosting before. I made it in a pinch and it turned out better than expected. Frosting stiffens up in the fridge, so if you make it ahead of time or refrigerate your cake, leave it out for a while before using/serving.
