About this Cook
I am a married mom of 4; two are still preschoolers and two have flown the nest.
My favorite things to cook
Chicken, chocolate chip cookies.
My cooking triumphs
I won a pie contest once, though it seemed unfair as I used premade crust, pudding mix, etc!
My cooking tragedies
I didn't know how to cook when I married, so meats were raw inside and burned outside! I have also had to readjust to different altitudes!

Quick Yeast Rolls
This recipe is SO good. Follow it to the tee and you won't be disappointed. The only thing I changed is that I used flour marked as high altitude flour (I'm up in the mountains). But it was so good.

Amish White Bread
The best! I am an experienced baker and this is he best bread. I let it rise on a heating pad and it raised nicely. I did cut the sugar to about 1/3 cup, so I was surprised it raised so well. The bread is fluffy, "not cakey" as my 7 yr old says. Thanks!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
Very good! My kids even reheated it for lunch. Definitely a do-again, much better than I have been making for years.
